Emmy Nominated Documentary, Train to Nowhere, Enjoying Success in Film Festivals and Online Distribution
The feature documentary film, Train to Nowhere; Inside an Immigrant Death Investigation, produced by Storytellers International and Paul Kakert, VP of EDP, was nominated for a 2011 Upper Midwest Emmy Award. The film was also an official selection of the Paso Digital Film Festival in Paso Robles, CA, as well as the Cinesol Film Festival in Harlingen, TX, Interrobang Film Festival in Des Moines, IA, Kansas City Film Festival in Kansas City and the Cedar Rapids Independent Film Festival in Cedar Rapids, IA where the film won Best Documentary. The film, released October 2010 and featured on www.DocumentaryTV.com and www.TrainToNowhere.com, made it's PBS broadcast premiere on IPTV throughout the state of Iowa on October 12th.
